Overview
Progressive Products’ 2-way diverter valves split a single pneumatic conveying line into two destinations — common at the head of multi-silo systems, multi-pack lines, or sample-divert installations. Two body styles depending on your material:
Line Diverter (HDV) — for non-abrasive products like grain, plastic pellets, food powders. Lighter construction, lower cost, fast actuation.
Tunnel Diverter (HTV) — for abrasive material like cement, fly ash, sand, frac sand. Heavier construction with wear-protected internals. Slower actuation but vastly longer service life.
Configuration
- 2-way actuation: 1 inlet, 2 outlets
- Sizes: 2″ through 12″ nominal
- Body materials: carbon steel, stainless steel
- Optional ceramic lining on wear-critical internal surfaces
- Manual lever, pneumatic cylinder, or electric actuator
- Position feedback switches available

When to choose 2-way diverter
Use a diverter (rather than two manual ball valves) when you need fast, repeatable position changes — typically for filling multiple silos from a single source, switching between sample and production destinations, or bypass routing.
